MEET PAT: Pat is the founder of Haynes Business Services.
Pat has been in the accounting field for 48 years. Her expertise encompasses all aspects of tax preparation, tax filing, and accounting services including individual, partnership, corporate, estate, and trust taxation. Pat has extensive experience handling both the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and State Taxing Agencies. She has successfully handled a wide range of IRS audits and taxpayer inquiries, working with the taxpayer and IRS to achieve positive results. Pat also has lengthy experience with payroll filings and compliance. Pat is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Pat was born and raised in the Great State of Michigan but has been in the Commerce, GA area for the past 30 years. She was the President of United Cerebral Palsy in West Palm Beach, Florida. Pat has one son and one daughter that are her pride and joy and two wonderful granddaughters that give her an extra sparkle when she talks about them!
Pat is also busy with four wonderful fur babies: 1 Saint Bernard, and 5 Great Danes. You might run into one of these pups at the office one day! There is no lack of love and tail wagging in the Haynes household.
When Pat isn’t behind her computer or meeting with clients, she can be found spending time with her family or working in her yard. She loves to see her gardens come to life in the spring.
MEET DINA: Payroll Department Manager
Dina has been with Haynes Business Services since 2007. She began as the receptionist and quickly became an expert at the ins and outs of the payroll process eventually becoming the head of the payroll department. She has mastered the art of making each client feel special and customizes small business payroll services to meet their needs. The payroll department has more than tripled in size under Dina’s lead, which is no small feat for the area. She takes pride in her department, holds it to high standards, and looks forward to continuing relationships with her current payroll clients and building relationships with new ones.
Dina is originally from Gwinnett County where she graduated from Brookwood High School and attended the local technical school. In 1994, she moved to Homer and has been a resident ever since. Dina has one daughter, a granddaughter and grandson and she will tell you stories of the adventures of Adalyn and Baylor at every chance. She has two dogs that keep her on her toes and they love her unconditionally. When she isn’t spending her time at the office or face-timing her grandchildren, Dina loves to curl up with a good book and get lost in some faraway place.

MEET RANDY: Tax Specialist
Randy has been with Haynes Business Services for six years. He started as the receptionist and worked closely with Pat to learn tax law. He has been preparing tax returns with Pat for the past three years. As a multi-tasker, he works hard to make sure things in the office run smoothly. Randy enjoys meeting with the clients, making sure all their needs are met, and ensuring they are pleased with our services.
Randy was born in Lawrenceville and moved to Banks County in 1994. He graduated from Banks County in the class of ‘97. He then attended Gainesville College and Lanier Technical College.
Randy and his wife, Candice, are very proud of their beautiful children they love and cherish. If you sit with him, you are bound to hear a family story or two.

MEET MELISSA: Accounting Specialist
Melissa Price joined Haynes Business Services in January 2019 as a staff accountant, and it’s a perfect fit for her experience as well as her personality. She enjoys payroll and monthly write-ups and is very thorough in her work, but at Haynes Business Services, she also has the benefit of fun and down-to-earth coworkers and the opportunity to love on fur babies throughout her day.
Through the course of her accounting career, Melissa has learned that she loves client interaction, getting to know new people and hearing about their diverse lives and experiences.
Melissa is originally from Lincoln County, a small town 20 minutes from Augusta. She graduated from Augusta Technical College with an accounting diploma in 2015. She started working at Lincoln County Courthouse as an intern, then later was hired full time in the finance office. In 2018, Melissa relocated to Northern Georgia to be with her family and help with her father’s ministry, Christwalk International Ministries.
Melissa & her husband, Landon, and their dogs have lived in Cornelia, Georgia since 2018. They just welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Jackson, in November of 2022. When she is not crunching numbers for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her pups on hikes in the beautiful mountains surrounding her home.
